Transformers-Prime.com - : Introduction and Announcements

Welcome to Transformers-Prime.com

Welcome to Transformers-Prime.com, a fan created website dedicated to the Transformers series known as Transformers Prime.

Transformers Prime marks the franchise's return to TV in cutting edge computer-generated animation after the last two wildly successful films. Reuniting Peter Cullen and Frank Welker as the original voices behind OPTIMUS PRIME and MEGATRON, the series both deepens the epic mythology of AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS, while starting fresh for a new generation of viewers and future transformers fans. With a bold and modern new look, OPTIMUS PRIME, BUMBLEBEE and others are back to roll out against MEGATRON'S latest plots to conquer Earth. The AUTOBOTS may be few against the DECEPTICONS menace, but they find increased strength here on their home away from home via bonds they've forged with three human teenagers. The TRANSFORMERS series will deliver heavy metal action and nail-biting suspense -- but also promises to take human drama to levels as of yet unseen in the franchise.

Transformers Prime will debut on The Hub within the United States later this fall. The Hub is a cable and satellite television network and multiplatform joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc that will be launching on 10.10.10.

Ken Christiansen has updated his blog with some designed of Transformers Bumblebee, Jazz and Inferno which are alternative ideas from Transformers Prime,

Mr Christiansen is working as a concept artist on Transformers Primeand has previously worked on Activisions Transformers: The Game and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen computer games.

"Yes I did work on Transformers : Prime. No, these images (Click on the Title Bar to see) are NOT from that work. You have to wait until October to see those...

But, now that some of those images are starting to come out, I wanted to try to do some studies to match the official style. Just really rough at this point, trying to find some of the basics.

Obviously, TFP Bumblebee is based on the movie Camaro, so I wanted to try a pass with him as the Beetle, and how that old vehicle form could break up in new ways. Then I took a crack at Jazz (I don't know if there's any TF/Prime images of him out, and I honestly don't know if he's in the lineup for the show - I didn't work on him, in any case) and based him on more of the TF:Animated styling. And then for fun, I just picked a random Autobot, and did Inferno. He was the last one I did, and I think I started to capture some of the TFP looks...

Tomorrow, some Decepts..."

Bryan Baugh has updated his DeviantArt page with the announcement that not only will be be at SDCC but that he has been working as a storyboard artist for Transformers-Prime.

"Since February 2010, I have been working (as a storyboard artist) on a new animation project that has been kept super top secret. But I can now confirm that the show I've been working on all these months is: TRANSFORMERS PRIME. There will be a discussion panel about this show at San Diego Comic Con, on Thursday, July 22nd.

...So there you go... Don't ask me any questions about it cause that's pretty much all I am allowed to say at this point! If you want to know more about the show - get yourself to SDCC and attend this panel! And before you even ask, no I will not be one of the people onstage at the panel answering questions. As a humble storyboard artist I am just one of the many little cogs in the great big machine. But I'll certainly be in the audience and I hope some of you guys will be too.

Later, gang!

In this epic first adventure, battles across Cybertron have left Bumblebee and his fellow Autobots in need of a new leader. But is there anyone who can step forward against the threat of Megatron and the evil Decepticons?"
